Just get the wysiwyg software, so simple. Even *I* was able to use it.

I've got two websites, my personal and one for my fathers work:

I like it simple. I write all HTML code by myself and I am a huge fan of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). I actually tried to make drop down menues and other fancy stuff via CSS a few years ago.
