Used HVX200 or New one?

I picked up a near-mint condition, five-month-old HVX200 with 60 hours on it for under $4200 on ebay. The seller sent his Buydig receipt in case I have a warranty claim.

If you decide to buy off ebay, I recommend buying domestically from a seller with decent feedback, finding out if it has a warranty you can use, and using a credit card (not debit) with paypal to protect your ability to do a chargeback.

Thanks all for the input. Went ahead and gave him a check for the used equipment. I just could not pass-up the portable hard drive (1800.00 new)
Anyway- this thing works slick with my Avid. HD imports directly and looks great!

I would always recommend buying a new one if using for work purposes. I always worry tooo much when buying used gear. It is worth the peace of mind... I found a new one shelf model with 16 g p2 for 4700 and of course a warranty.
