Hey guys,
I thought I might just share this with you to see if anybody else is finding the same thing.
I've been shooting a bit of stuff at PAL 50P for slow motion. I assumed that doubling it's speed in Final Cut would give me real time footage at 25P. In theory this seems reasonable. However, when I double the speed in Final Cut the footage looks just a little too quick to be real time, it's quite obvious.
I can't think of a reason for this to be so, has anybody else tried this? I can't believe that it's final cut that's doing it, nor can I accept that the HVX's inner workings are out by a fraction of a second?
Anybody have a a plausible explanation for this?
