Hey all,
I'm going to but the Letus35mm since I have a shot in two weeks and need it within the next week rather than the Extreme ships in 3-4 weeks, otherwise I'd get the Extreme but I was curious if anyone got the Economy and what they thought of it?

Also, the Order says:

Mount: Nikon Locking Mount

Shall I get that one or is there a specific?

Thread: 72mm

and

Additional Ring: 72 mm

Do I need to get an additional ring?

Also, what lenses to get if I want a very shallow depth of focus?

Thanks.

Also, what are the best lenses for Depth of Field to get the background totally out of focus and to rack focus to make it look most like film? 50mm?

Where can I look at some examples and buy them? I'm looking to spend about $100-200 on 50mm lens as long as the quality looks great.

And what about a "rail system" for the adapter? I heard people are using the Brevis one. Is it essential?

If you are going to go with a vibrating gg, I would also recommend the Brevis35, It has about a 2-3day turnaround to your door shipping. Also it come with everything you really will ever need, you shouldn't have a problem finding a nikkor or ziess 50mm 1.4-1.8 around 100 to 200 bux look at the classifieds here and also the used section on BH, also KEH usually has a huge selection, I would also recommend an 85mm, good all around lens.

I think I had read somewhere that the economy doesn't support a rail system?
and that was why im leaning towards the Extreme
i could be wrong

It says Letus 35mm Extreme ships 3-5 weeks. Can I do an order over-night? I'm sure I can right?

Also, I'm trying to get only the characters in focus on many of the shots. I know 50mm is great for that. What else?

And what is a good wide angle lens that will get a lot of room but not make it look "fish-eyed"?

It means that it takes Letus 3-5 weeks to come up with the adapter and ship it to you. The line for the Extreme is a mile long and right now supply isn't keeping up with demands.

get a fast 1.8 28mm, that is very wide, but doesn't warp anything. I would also look at a good field monitor for accurate focus pulling.
