Hi i post some pics that the short that I´m edited now.

I was the director-DP-camera and now the post man... a orchestral man... very hard and stress work but I´m happy with the final results.

Shot mostly in a parking int. with fluoros + HMI 575 and some more. Shot under low light and working at wide open (nikon lens and DVX) a lot of time.
M2 is a great adapter and worked very well, the issue (as all these adapters) is that "eat" a lot of light and is a issue in interiors with low budget.
You can see the "grain" in the image. I like grain and it remember me the high speed film.

You like the grain? There's a lot, did you add some? They look nice.
I really like the first one; the framing does it. I know you won't go back to re-shoot it, but maybe
bring his face up just a tad, so we can see more of his mouth:)

thanks, the short was shot without tripod and the actor was moved a lot (he is closed inside a car) and he enter and out in the frame a lot.
I add no grain to the image, the DVX is very noisy at low light but i like it and I have no option to add more light.

The grabs look good... I'd like to see some footage.

Which Nikon lenses did you use specifically?

Hi thanks, I only used a old Nikkor 28mm f:2 for wide shoots and a Nikkor 50mm f: 1.4 for close up.

I think the first grain is a little too much. The reason I say this is because I can look at the second set of grabs and see grain as well. The screengrabs we are looking at is probably very small in comparison to the final viewing output which is going to make the grain more noticeable

are these straight from camera, or have you made adjustments to colour and exposure?

just for the hell of it, I messed with this grab for a second in final cut. I didn't export it for the correct aspect ratio, so it's stretched.

looks a little better in final cut, jpeg compression washed it out a bit.

Looks good to me. Post up the short when you're done, I'd love to see it.

Anyway, just wondering what F-stop you used on the lenses? Did you stick to one F-stop and just open/close the DVX? Any chance of you posting up your settings?

Good stuff, man.
