30 Second Jewelry Commercial shot with XHA1

It is simple and nice.

I felt that the groom was standing too still for one. and did u light ur last scene up? did u add gain?

I was thinking you might want a voiceover at the ending of the video

What the hell is Weyer's Cave??????

++ points for not doing the same old thing. So yes I agree it's unlike most jewelry store spots I see everyday.

I just shot one using the tried and true, "lets put the jewelry on a lazy susan and spin it around to make the diamonds sparkle" method. I should have gone out behind the store and beat myself up.

Hey, you really want to think outside the box? Get the staff of CW Jewelers together in the showroom and have them wave to the camera. Groundbreaking!

I thought it was very well done and very moving emotionaly without the usual forced over the top in your face emotional manipulation. That last shot was really evocative and said a lot with a simple movement. I also liked that you chose not to show the faces. The people in the scene could be us. By showing their faces, they are somebody else, from the back they are anybody we want them to be. Good choice.

Subtle and classy.

Thanks for all the great feedback guys,

Hobbes:
I did not think ahead when doing the last scene, so it was naturally dark giving way to much grain in my opinion. The wedding couple should have moved more but it was directed more towards seeing her head move on his shoulder.

Deep Focus:
Haha, yeah I should have added Virginia to it, but since it's local, most people know where it's at. Yeah we were trying various techniques to think outside the box. I hit up youtube and checked out some and my god some were horrible. I especially liked the gangsta jewelry store ads on there..ha. Security jewelers has the corniest though and was what I didn't want. Thanks for the great feedback!

Kelly Olsen:
Thanks for the great feedback. You commented on everything we hoped people would see and the emotional side of it. Which makes me think we got that feeling across.

Oh dude, you want gangsta? Check this out. I did this one for a jewelry store in Bridgeport, CT. Bling bling, no doubt. The only thing I like about it is the voice over.

Obviously no need to add Virginia to your spot....I was just curious was that meant.

hahaha that was one of the ones I watched. Great stuff though, love the tag line. The voice over was pretty smooth and the shots.
