Shot a pilot I wrote and directed on a the HVX 200 @ 1080i with the P&S 35mm adaptor (Had a zeiss lens kit). One of the most amazing experiences of my life. Here are a few (uncolor corrected) screen grabs from yesterday . The DP and I are very excited to color this bad boy

No plot details being revealed yet :)

nice. haha, the dude in the last shot cracks me up.

heh yah. He was really great and perfect for the part (You'll see in the full series)

My editor came on set yesterday as we were finishing up and did some rough color correction and holy CRAP does it take this footage to a new level. Ill post those as soon as I can.

Wow, great stills and a nice looking film shoot. When can we see moving images?

Good luck with it all !

Thanks

Richard

Have to keep the moving images under wraps until 08. I'll release as soon as I can though!

No worries, should have realised as its a pilot. Best of luck, I hope you get everything you want !

Can't wait til then !

Very cool! I'm curious what it's about. Looks like a drama. I shot a pilot of my own three years ago which became a cable network series. Canceled after one season, but I proved to the naysayers that i could make an $800k pilot for about 40k.

the BTS photos makes it look like a high budget film. great job. i see a lot of people are starting to go with the Zeiss Lenses lately.

Spent 8 hours cutting yesterday, probably another 10 left on picture edit, then another week or two for sound, music and the 2 vfx shots then it will be ready to hit the mean streets!

Mind saying which show?

It's all about proving the naysayers wrong. We have to be innovative no matter what our budget (I'm trying to make $5k look like 30k)
