HVX on History Channel Nov. 18th

[Barry_Green]

Hey, looks like one of the History Channel docs that Shane Ross worked on is about to air. "Andrew Jackson" is airing Sunday, Nov. 18 at 8:00 Eastern/Pacific, 7:00 Central, 6:00 mountain. Doc was shot with a combination of VariCams and HVX200s.

Will there be a way to watch it online for non US viewers...?
Or is this PPV?

Yea that's a good question, because I barely watch TV.

I hae been watching Sky TV and BBC on-line for free. The website lists some Discovery but no History Channel. On a Mac, this is really hit and miss, the site works only some of the time.

Doesn't help specifically with History Channel but I am sure that there are sites out there that are like this one that would have The History Channel.

Best,

Dan

Shane also did the Mexican American War.

Thanks Barry for the heads up. I watched Andrew Jackson program. I thought there was a big difference between the Varicam and HVX footage. What would you guess the shutter and frame rate settings were on some of the war re-enactments (Saving Private Ryan) look were?
