HaHa, I never realized how small the HV20 was till I saw this. It would work shane if you had rails or some other way to mount it.

I have the same Firestore and put a larger hard drive in it. The HD m2t file system works great, and tons of room. You get hours of space on this baby. You cant find 100gig Firestore for anywhere near this price guys.

Nice, its kind of a little gem in itself. I cant believe you haven't sold this yet. You should take your hv20 with a skater dolly, and get some nice footage of those gems for your site.

Anybody know if this will record 24P 1080p from HVX - it looks like it needs to be upgraded to the HD version. I'm mildly technical, and the graphs and charts seem to conflict, so I'm looking for a witness.

Will this work with a Canon XH-A1 and Final Cut Studio 2? What would the Final Cut Studio 2 workflow be like?

Yes and no. It will only do 720p with the A1 if I am not mistaken (no 1080 yet for the A1)

As for the workflow it should be the same as having the files on the HDD as that is basicly what the FS-4 is when hooked to the comp.

This is the HD version... however HVX requires the FS-100 not the FS-4 HD

FS-C = Canon only
FS-4 = some canon's and other cams as well.
