Mixxing stock footage with brevis footage

I am just getting into shooting with the brevis. And the only problem i have encountered is dealing with changing lenses. I own a 50mm and a 28. I noticed the 50 looks way better then the 28. I use the 28 to shoot wider shots. So i was thinking instead to shoot the wider shots with the stock lens. But as you know the brevis gives it a certain filmish look. But i think with some tweeking it post i can make wider footage resemble brevis footage. Am I right in my assesment? And has anyone else tried this?
It will just be a couple of shots i will be mixxing with other brevis footage.

sounds like your lenses aren't color matched.
different manufactuers?
Try ND to similar F-Stops between the lenses.
you should be able to match in post.
 
Your 28 maybe a lousy klens or your back focus may be off which will affect wide lenses the most. In any case try shooting through a 1/8 Promist and lowering the detail on the stock lens for a start if you have to.

I used to have a Nikon 28mm 3.5 that was just a crappy lens BTW
