price for dvx100a

Hello,

I'm planning on selling my dvx100a - it's in TOP NOTCH shape, no problems with it at all. Very well taken care of and only same brand tapes run through it. The heads have just over 700 hours on them... so, with that said - how much do you think I should be selling the camera for?

It comes with UV and promist filters, battery and charger.

Advice appreciated!

1300-1600 ... although you might have some problems getting buyers on a used camera that has more than 500 hours on it
 
i think you are makng a wise decision , maybe im guessing arround 1,200? and yes hours do matter too , people are going to look for one with very little use and in good condition. you may have some trouble with the long time of use .
 
I bought my about a month ago with 170 hours in perfect condition for $900.
Maybe round it off to 1K with the large hours?
 
Or it fell off the back of a lorry ;-)
To be true 900 US$ is a very low price for a DVX. If that was the price u paid then you are a lucky guy...
I paid 1500 EUR for a DVX100A with very low hours (I think it was 45)+ Panasonic Anamorphic Adapter + Varizoom bag+ Varizoom stealth controller+ some filters and stuff 10 months ago and this was a very good price at that time.
I'd say with 700 hrs and in good condition you could still get up to 1500US$ for the cam...maybe a little bit more if you put it on eBay.
 
$1000 to $1500 depending on how axious you are to sell it (if you can wait for the right buyer, you'll get more out of it).
