I liked the song, and I don't really like heavy metal type of music, but it was actually good. The orange lighting in the video was really cool and any post work done was enhancing the final product, not too over-the-top, which I enjoyed. Good work!

Awesome work, man. I loved the lighting and cutting in this. It really complemented the song. Everything I've seen from you has gotten progressively better. You've got what it takes.

howd you do the heat wave effect?

I made a clip consisting of red and green particles flowing left to right, like it was snowing. Then I composite that footage over my performance footage, used a displacement map to push the greens to distort the footage. I was watching 300 at the time when i cutting this music video so I added some embers..and it turned out pretty well.

Thanks for the comments guys, trivium loved working with us.. they had fun which was the first, and it made a difference I think.

Great edit. I'm not a metal fan either but this was good. The repetative use of left to right pans were a little distracting for me but its hard to say anything bad. Nice job!

Great work. Question, Do you have any details on what it takes to get a music video on mtv or could point me in the right direction? thanks.

Scott

Yeah, it says everyone outside of the US won't be able to access it. Too bad, I'll have to watch the YouTube version.

EDIT: That was one cool video! What settings did you use? :)

Great job!

I find it a bit strange that I happened across this thread while watching Red Dragon on USA network. Actually the scene I was watching is where Fiennes is explaining to Phillip Seymour Hoffman about becoming the dragon. Weird.
