Hello All!
This is the last scene we'll be posting, we wanted to post 4 scenes to detail what the movie is about, because some people have just been shocked at the violence, etc... Soooo we figured we'd better post some scenes up so people know what to expect...

OH and by the way, we'll be featured in a show called American Latino TV, it's nationally syndicated, so click here for your city and listing:

great quality. i've decided to do my feature with just the stock lens too based on the footage you've been posting. this definately looks like a movie...but damn is this thing violent, lol. if tarantino caught hell for the bloody ear scene in resivoir dogs then i can only imagine what you're going to have to deal with, lol.

you may want to look at softening the edges on the composite on the last shot of the dude that's been left on the highway.

what's the theme or premise of the entire film? who's your target audience?

back to the last shot, you need to sort your tracking out on that as he slips as the camera tilts.

the rest of it, heavy stuff, but nervy and edgy. I liked it, and some good camera work

The body on the wall could do with slumping more, as he doesn't seem to be hanging on the straps in his near dead /dead state. I expected more blood/heavier injuries on him after the onslaught.

Thanks for your comments!

Yeah the theme is a bit violent but I live in the border (in Texas bordering Mx) and trust me, that violence is a way of life in this area because of all the drug trafficking...
I think art reflects society, and this movie reflects an exagerrated and condensed story from Mexico.
We understand that this film is not for all, so if you liked the departed, 8mm, amores perros, etc you'll like Ash Wed.
Thanks again for your support...

i'd like to second my admiration for a stock lens shot movie that, well, looks like a MOVIE (which can't always be said for those shot with 35mm adapters)! i definitely get tony scott vibes from it, frequent transitions, black, and camera movement.
