"Coyote" HVX feature with RR M2 Adapter

Lets see some BTS!!

That wsa a great 3 minute intro. Really had me haning, I was wondering what the HELL was going on. So much randomness, and im sure it lead up to someting really good. Golf shots in movies, or TV, are so nice colors! Everytime!

I agree with como, a lot of it confused me, there was a lot going on, which can be bad, but it wasn't in your case. It made me want to find out what you were trying to say with so many stories. How much dough did you raise for your budget & did you go over?

Good luck in S.D.

San Diego Film Fest Honors Coyote!

San Diego Film Fest Honors Coyote!

Hey Guys,

We just got back from the San Diego Film Fest and Coyote won the Best Actor as well as the Audience Choice Best Feature award! We were pretty excited. Lots of talk about what we shot on and everyone loved the HVX+M2 Combo.

It screened on Digibeta, which looks good, but we would have loved to have screened on HDCAM to show the true power of what the image can look like. Hopefully we can have a HDCAM screening soon. Or eventually get a 35mm print.

sorry. Which song did you mean. The first 3 mintues or the Packages scene. Either way I guess it doesn't matter, everything in those clips is composed for the movie by our composer

Congrats on the awards - I just saw the first three minutes, and I have to echo what Patryk said, this is one of the few times I've seen a trailer on here that genuinely made me want to see the final piece.

Nice work - all techy stuff aside (not to dimish the professional look of the piece) - but what was most impressive to me was how well you set up the drama in those first few minutes. I feel like I know just enough about those characters to want to know more.
Engaging and entertaining ...

Hopefully you'll make it down to Austin for SXSW?
If so - let me know, I'd like to check out the full movie.

Good luck with it!

Bahamas International Film Festival

Bahamas International Film Festival

Our film "Coyote" juts got accepted into the Bahamas International Film Festival! We're excited, especially since they are flying us out to it. So regardless of how the film is received, we get a week in the Bahamas in December!

We don't have screening times yet, but anyone here is going to be out there for it let me know. You can check the website for screening times when announced.

This stuff looks VERY VERY GOOD. Excellent work Brian. However, I can't help but feel that the opening scene in Mexico felt more like a feature film than the other stuff, especially the golf course and the girl sitting down. Those kinda looked more like a very nicely done ad commercial. I can't really place it. Probably has something to do with the setting itself. The stuff with the cop and the guy in the car went back to "feeling like film"

Anyway, very nice work again.

is there a update on this? Just wondering what you guys on doing now and how the film has done past 10/07 date. thanks!

I'm in the Aussie don't-get-alotta-movies-here-I'd-like-to-see club too.

Very impressive footage. Really liked the first golf shot against the blue sky where we're left wondering for a moment what's happening.

Wish you the best with this.

The update is that we are still doing the festival thing. We have a sales company on the film now (Ondamax Films). They are taking over the festival run and are submitting it like mad internationally and domestically. They are going to some European markets (Berlin, etc) with it to do some international sales. We don't have any set screening times yet, but we'll keep you posted when we do.

Also, there is an HD Trailer up on the site now (not just scenes from the movie). check it out at www.themexicandream.com
