Output to HVX200 and Dubbing with HVX200

Hi Guys,

This is my first post, so I'd like to say Hi to everyone. Looking forward to being on this forum more often.

I have a Panasonic HVX200 and a Firestore FS-100. I'd like to do two things, and I haven't figured out a way of doing them.

1. I have a timeline in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and would like to output it to the HVX 200. I haven't managed to get Premiere to recognize the HVX as an output device. Can I output to the HVX using Premiere? If so, how? If not, why not?

2. I was also hoping to backup all the material I shot using the FS100 to tape. And since I can dub from the P2 cards straight to tape on the HVX, I was wondering if that is possible with the FS100 as well. If so, how?

Would be of great help if anybody has any answers to these questions. I'd greatly appreciate it!

THanks in advance!

I posted earlier but can't find my original post so here it is again. I need to output my hd files from a portable hard drive to dvtape (though it will downrez) or other archive format. One of my hard drives failed so I want to make a backup. I don't have an upgraded FCP so can't bring the mxf files to my timeline yet. Is there any other way? What suggestions do you have to archive files?
