I've been shooting lately a zombie short. You can check some BTS-photos here:

...unfortunately I don't have any footage to show yet, just finished shooting this night.

We shot three weekends and the short is going to be about 7 minutes long. I used the stock lens for night stuff and M2 with SD achromat for daytime. I would have used the Sgpro, but it comes in december so we had to use redrock this time :(

Will post the finished short in month - stay tuned!

Wow this looks great! You got a good looking dolley and some sweet lighting set ups.

I cant wait to see some footage!

What was the budget for this?

I cannot wait to see this. These BTS photos look awesome and your stuff in the past was just incredible.

Just out of curosity did you rent your lights, dolly, playback monitor or do you own your own equipment. Also if you dont mind saying how much was your budget. Seems like a big production for a 7 minute short. The stills also look amazing.

fabianc: I own all the camera gear. Lights, dolly and monitors are from our school. It's very hard to say how much the budget was exactly because we didn't get paid. But I think that it is very close to 100k because the lighting gear is very expensive to rent.

Unreal stills, I would love to see it in action...How do you people do it, I mean, gathering up people to help you with even a 7 minutes short. Make up desinger, a dolley pusher lol, a boom operator, is it cause im 17, and noone wants to help me out? I have to do everything...Maybe when i get to college, then ill find some crew people

Great job, looks like you really put some work into this

The best part in our school are definitely the people! I have met great guys to work with and we do loads of projects together. The education itself in our school isn't too groundbreaking but as I said the school delivers the "crew" :D

...forgot to mention that we had insanely tight schedule for this project - one month from synopsis to finished movie.

Send it one to a One Month Film Festival ;)

You going to post it anytime soon you know? Or you gotta get it back fom your "editor" ohhhhhhhhhhhh
