question on capturing footage to fcp

hi, i am a new owner to the a1 and have recently shot a live rock concert. the footsage is great but when i capture it into fcp i am getting some shots cut out. i use the capture now function and let it go till the end. while shooting i did not turn the camera off until the end of the show,
any ideas on why some time is being cut out?

Are you capturing to an external drive? Sometimes these external drives (slower ones) will cause gaps in capturing or even miss small clips altogether.

i have 2 drives within my g5. a 150 that holds all applications and a 500 witch i keep all my work in. i import into the 500.
