Probably a pointless task but i figured it wouldn't hurt to ask, right? Anyone know of a place that has 8Gb or 16Gb in stock?

You should try calling videoscopeusa. I don't have their number on hand, but if you go to their website www.videoscopeusa.com, you can probably get it there.

They get pretty big quantities when they get them. Heard they had another shipment of 50 coming sometime soon.

Been buying mine at Abel lately, they are great and I have not had to wait more than a week when on their lists.

I just bought two 16 gig cards from studio-exchange dot com for $900 each. The cheapest I found in two weeks of searching. They had 40 in stock. They're an authorized panasonic dealer. I'll two 4 gig cards available in a month if you're interested. email me - jeremy at thecreativelaboratory dot com

Thanks for all the great advice guys. I found a 16GB on Abel Cinetech for only $875 and got it about 4 days later.. just in time for a shoot.
