any luck buying 16GB cards?

Wondering if anyone has had any luck finding 16GB cards lately? We ordered a couple nearly 2 months ago and still haven't seen them. The vendor told us none were in stock anywhere because NBC bought up the entire inventory. Sounds possible, but I keep seeing instances of folks here getting theirs.

So, any ideas of suppliers that do have them in stock??

I just got mine after a month. I also got a call from Spec-Comm, I think they recieved a shipment of them last week and they should be getting another batch very soon. I would give them a call they may have a few left over. As a Panasonic sales rep told me its just that they are backed up because they only order small quantities of parts compaired to other manurfacturers and they have gotton an overwhelming amount of orders. Everyone should be getting more stock shortly. Good luck!
 
I got two from Abel Cine a few weeks ago, then had to send one back and they replaced it right away, with rush shipping.
 
With 8 Gb discontinued, I'm wondering if Panasonic is going to seriously address this supply issue, or explain at least what is ocurring.
 
I received one from spec-comm this past Friday. I also got one from Abel last week and my first one 2 weeks or so ago from zacuto. Intention was to get 1 card but ordered from all of them as the supply has been tight. So I guess I have one extra I can sell.
 
Yeah, I had one that gave me an 'incompatible card' error. The other two are just fine and abel rush shipped the replacement so I'm happy as a clam.
 
I bought one from Abel cine tech toda for $875. The salesman seemed to feel that the rush was over, and they had plenty of stock. Best, Matt.
 
We at Abel have plenty in stock in both our LA and NY offices. Just give us a call and we can get them out to you right away!
