I wish there were some way of smoothly recording google earth flight paths.

[Drew Ott]

There is. You have to buy the pro version I think.

I see google earth used all the time on news shows and the weather channel.

You've been littering the landscape too?

Is it 3D for all maps, or only selected cities? Seems cool, but would suck if I can't fly through Montreal.

I don't know what you mean. You can turn terrain on and off (Grand Canyon is awesome with terrain turned on).

There is also a 3d building mode (New York City is the coolest with this).

There is a good way to do it, will post a demo video and instructions in a few.

From the Washington Post (2/07):
"The technology behind Google Earth, which Google says has 200 million users, got its start in the intelligence community, in a CIA-backed firm called Keyhole. Google acquired Keyhole in 2004. ...Google declined to comment on which federal agencies it serves and would not reveal its revenue from government work."

G**gle has so many government connections they should be considered the 4th branch of government.

[WaveRiderXIX]

someone tell me how to do this on iPhone

[Derrick_SA]

Is there any sound for the planes?

thanks,
derrick

Try using snapx pro to record. Ambrosia makes it and a free DL trial is available.
