Our film RETRIBUTION made the seminfinals in Assassin's Creed contest

Haha awesome! It's the guy i bought my camera from! I recognized your actor right away. He does a fantastic job. Reminds me a lot of Morgan Freeman.

The video was well shot but i wish i could see it alittle better, the compression was bad but obviously that's not your choosing. It'd be cool if you could host it with quicktime on another website.

Anyways, story was very interesting, the ending was kind of abrupt but it was a nice 6 minute short.

Was this shot on a dvx? Or is that a stupid question :happy:

I'm gonna guess the hvx, looks very nice!

Check it out if you can... it's alot better than the compressed version that WE HAD to upload to the iFC site.

I was wondering if anyone on here made it to the semifinals. Do you have another version of your film online? It really sucks that we had to compress it down so much for iFC. Best of luck to you too.
 
Andrae, everything was excellent! Good camera work and acting. Sometimes people underestimate acting. It's very important. You can have the biggest budget, best camera work and bad acting can still ruin it. Keep up the good work!

I have to say i really enjoyed your film Andrae it is honestly one of the best shorts i have ever seen, it was shot great and you had superb acting from your lead, the guy is very good.

I also enjoyed your film Aravance, i loved your opening and you also shot it great and had a very good performance from your lead actor...again its one of the better shorts i have seen.

Both you guys did great i really enjoyed both shorts. best of luck to the both of you keep up the good work.
