Grabs of Butterflies and Bees

[Steven Bogda]

just some random grabs from some random footage of some random insects on random flowers

EDIT: Here are some more

[bwest]

very nice...
Whats your secret?

[tommetass]

I'm guessing.. umm.. the zoom was all in?... and.. umm.. iris wide open?... and correct white balance adjusting..?

that's gotta be it..

love the grabs!

[Steven Bogda]

yeah zoomed in all the way but the iris was at 5.6 i think, and shutter was 250 or something, plus it was nice and sunny

[mackfilm]

The elusive shallow depth of field..

nice work

[Steven Bogda]

tanks. the video footage looks pretty nice too, ill have to post it when its done

[Oedipax]

Sharp, and great color! You could use a chroma blur filter to get rid of some of the DV artifacting too in the saturated areas and make it look even better (assuming you then rendered out into something besides DV).

[Steven Bogda]

ill have to try that out when im done editing
thanks
