Discrepancy between P2 Store and FCP import file lists

I filled up 4 4GB P2 cards and dumped them into my P2 Store. In FCP I imported all the files.

There is an odd discrepancy.

The list of files in the P2 Store does not match the list of files that comes up inside the import P2 window of FCP. (By lists of files I mean a list of files inside all the CLIP folders of all the NO NAME folders the P2 Store as compared to the list FCP sees on the P2 Store as displayed in the P2 import dialogue box.)

Most of the files match but one or more do not. There are files on the P2 Store that don't seem to be available to FCP.

Is this possibly because of a spanning issue?
 
What kind of drive do you have the MXFs on? I have come across this problem with my WD 120GB USB-bus-powered drive. Sometimes I'll dump a card onto that drive, and then when I load it into FCP, it wants to show me the footage from ANOTHER dump! I just eject and remount the drive and all is well.
 
The drive is a 160 GB USB bus powered Lacie drive. It is an odd drive in that you have to not only plug it into a USB port but you also have to get power from an additional USB port.
