Who records straight to hard drive via laptop

I have the A1 and about to get a mac book pro and a second A1 how can I record both cameras through the computer onto a hardrive do I need two computers ? any help would be great thank you all
 
I have DVrack HD and it requires one laptop per camera. I don't know if it is the same with Canon's version of a direct monitor program.
 
Maybe your better off sticking to tape and using a field monitors. The monitors are far more versatile when shooting. Laptop recording can sometimes be a drag on low budget.
