Well, my last day at my job will (most likely) be July 31st after which I'll be unemployed... err... self employed, so that really frees things up. :beer:

I'm in. I think sunday afternoon is the best time. or we could all meet in a creepy alley at like 3:00 am, then everyone could make it!

What is everyone wanting to do?
Just a get together with food? screen some projects? check out other's gear?
 
Actually... We should make this the last Saturday of this month. rlm will be here after his move and Mattinstl will be here visiting.

Does that work for everyone? We can go to Santa Monica and do the beach football thing like Charli suggested or ...?
 
I'm in LA from the 28th of August (Tue) through the 1st of September (Sat). I don't want to put anybody out... but that's my sch.
 
I just moved from Switzerland to Santa Monica and got my apartment yesterday. I will start school 08.28.07 but till then I don't have much to do. Would be nice meeting you...

Actually, when I recommended the last Saturday in August, I was thinking that was the 31st... We can do this on the Sept 1, I'm sure... unless anyone has any objections?
 
I would love to attend. I don't own the camera yet but I hired a DP with one for my last project. Does that count? LOL. I currently have a broken collarbone so no football for me Tommy.

haha oh man. I feel like this is never going to happen. People don't seem to be down for the beach thing.
Anyway, i'm down for any kind of meet up.
 
Last Saturday in August I will be totally down for the Milwauke DVXuser meetup.

Somebody just pick a date and a place and this will gain a lot more momentum.
