Where can I see a DVX100B in the SF Bay Area?

[robscomputer]

Hi,

I'm planning to purchase the DVX-100B and do not know where to find one to see in person before I make the purchase. Everything I've seen of the camera looks great, but the final say so is actually holding the camera.

If the price is close to on-line pricing I'll buy local but for now haven't found the camera any where.

Thanks,
Rob

Well, I'm over in Dublin.....I'm working in Oakland.....If I could find the time I'd show you mine....

Oh, and what is the best price you've found so far? If you buy on-line I might know of a good deal..

I actually work in Dublin myself.

The best price I found is just $2695 from B&H. I saw a bit lower pricing but I want to buy from a authorized dealer. Only problem with B&H is the DVX100B are ordered week by week and takes about 1 to 2 weeks to get one.

I have one in the Concord area if you are near.

Try Calumet Photo in SF and ask if they have a model camera that they can show you.

I'll have one in a couple of weeks in Richmond you can check out.

Thanks!

I ended up just ordering the camera from BH and will have it in a few weeks. I did see the Canon stuff locally but wasn't too impressed, especially with the price.
