What was that one movie called, where the old man travels the road with his lawn mower to meet someone, or see someone..that was a great movie.

Directed by David Lynch, the title takes on a a double meaning, as the movie itself is Lynch's homage to realism effectively giving the middle finger to those thinking he could not competently make a non-surreal, more linear movie, a "Straight" movie, or "Story", if you will.

Yeah. It's a good movie too.
People forget Lynch did Elephant man too. Completely straight masterfully directed totally linear story about a really weird looking guy.
I guess every couple of decades he reminds us he could paint nudes if he wanted to. The rest of the time he does his own thang.

I saw Elephant Man and thought it was really well done. I'm not the biggest David Lynch fan, but I definitely respect what he does and where he's coming from.
