Most Film Like Image I Have Ever Gotten!

It was late last night, couldn't goto sleep, so... what do I do? I make a really wierd montage with some random shots. For every single shot All I used to color grade was I MB Preset I made called "Green Piss". I have made alot of presets but this is my favorate. It works great for any kind of dirty grimey or matrixy stuff.

Looks great man. "Green Piss", huh? not so sure about the name, but it looks nice ;)

I especially liked the shot near the begining of the rain on the window/blinds.

What song is that???
 
I wonder if skatevideos in general look this good nowadays since I'm sure they all picked up a DVX. gone are the days of fisheeye sonycam videos, i hope....
 
Man, that is some of the most interesting pictures I have seen from a stock dvx, couldnt tak my eyes of it. It has a very nostalgic and atmospheric look to it, loved the editing and the whole piece. And the doll in the end was pretty funny :)
Would be cool to hear how you achieved that look.

I can't seem to figure out where premiere stores the MB Presets I made. Is there a way I can just put them in a zip file and upload it. Ill probably just tell you all the settings but that would take awhile.

And I didn't think smettli would think this looked good! I always go for your look. It is all a stock dvx100a.

green piss never looked so good!! a very cinematic look to it... now i wonder what i should name my next preset.

heh i guess some do.. but you'd be amazed by how many skater kids want a sony vx1000. yes 1000 not even the 2000 just because the old-school videos were made with them.

(and well they ARE cheap ill give them that)


I personally wouldnt risk a DVX to skate-shooting.... but i would risk a sony vx-1000. hell you could throw it off a huge ramp and get a cool shot then retrieve the tape!
 
For the love of everything that is "Green" and good in this world, PLEASE figure out how you did this. Did you use a combination of presets, or did you take a preset and adjust it yourself? Try and figure it out. Great stuff, man.
 
actually I made it from scratch, i zeroed everything out and then messed with it, thats how I always start off in premeire, zero everything. Ill take a screen shot of all the stuff I have set in premiere. But after premiere a bring the project into after effects and add an adjustment layor for widescreen, another for MB Faded plugin and mess with the layers opacity, then another layer for contrast since I just did the fade, makes a pretty neat look.
 
and cant forget vingetting.

haha Im only 15 give me a break I have a social life, its hard to do this and goto work and other things. Im so tired I cant think of the most productive way of showing you guys the preset.
