:kali:TO EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM, IAM WORKING ON A TRAINING DVD ON THE CANON A1 AND G1. I know there are a few dvd`s out there but they fail to adress the key features of this camera in greater detail.
so if there is anything you would like to see in this dvd then please feel free add a comment. The DVD WILL BE CALLED
LAZYMAN`S GUIDE TO USING THE CANON A1/G1

Definitely include video samples that showcase the difference between the various image control options such as black pedestal, knee etc. Especially the more subtle options such as sky and skin details as well as coring, noise reduction, color matrix etc. Make it as detail as you can because most of the tutorials and materials blow through these at breakneck speed.

DVXUser's "commercial signature policy" requires all advertisers to become "signature sponsors" before they attempt to use DVXUser to sell their products

No worries MOD as soon as the dvd is completed.
Guys feel free to give me as much info as you can. Ill be asking alot of questiona as well to make shure eveything is acurate.
Manny thanks.

I agree with jade. Explain as simply - and accurately - as possible how each image control option affects the picture. And make each a subchapter on the dvd so that the viewer can focus on a specific option and doesn't have to watch everything to get the information he/she needs.

Make sure you explain not only the "how to" but also the "why" so the dvd will also also provide a crash course on shooting. Remember that for many of us the A1 is the first pro camera. Try to focus on getting the job done for the cameramam.
Also if you could distribute it through Amazon (maybe using Custom flix) that would be great.

I think it would be nice to explain the HDV process from the camera to editing and to export. Since I am new to the HDV world that is the one thing that has made things so much harder on me to get right.
