rock video xh a1 m2 canon lens

Looks great as usual. Any quicktimes of it? Also, What did you use for the damaged effects? On a side note -I stumbled across your WSJ article the other day. Interesting stuff.
 
I was going to say that you're copying Hiro's style before seeing that you're the one that posted this!

How do you like the A1? Givin' sharp images with the adapter? To me on the myspace compression, looks the same as DVX footage+adapter.
 
Looks awesome. It's not my type of music, but I managed to sit through it.
 
that quicktime looks soo much better than the myspace version man.
Pretty solid video. It also didn't have that 35mm adapter feel (this is a good thing).

There was one angle where you're in the crowd shooting at the band and i wish you could have gotten a little bit higher because it's pretty distracting but that's being super picky.
Would like to see a higher quality version.
 
I remember seeing a screengrab from this one.
Solid work as always. Some really great shots in there and excellent editing.
Only dislike is the "split-screen" effect.
 
One of the biggest disapointment of this project is that it doesnt even have the 35mm look (it works for the video), I don't know if its the canon camera or ... the canon lens... or the m2.. I told myself.. I am not shooting with the m2 ever again.

What lens did you use? I thought the shots were pretty much spot on for what it is.
 
What quicktime render settings do you use quality wise. PLEASE TELL ME!
H.264 codec i assume

Also do you use an external monitor?
 
Great Job showing the capabilities of the Canon HDV. I have been looking everywhere for effect plugins or even alpha mattes like these. Can you please tell me what they are called. Or even a Link I can find them at. Thanks.

The M2 is a really good product. Don't knock it yet cause' many people use it and it turns out great stuff.

I believe "Illegal" was shot with an M2, correct?
