i don't know if onecall.com is an authorized canon dealer.

i have never purchased from onecall.com

i do not work for onecall.com

i do always try to support the advertisers on this forum.

but $3050 is a pretty great price for the xh a1 when dvx100s are still selling for $2k-ish on this site.

here is the link: http://www.onecall.com/ProductDetails.aspx?id=33901#

be well

I, as well as others on this forum have ordered from Onecall. I can't speak for others in terms of their experience, but I got my camera and all the proper accessories in perfect working order. They had the same deal as well, about a month and a half ago. $200.00 off and then you send in the rebate to Canon.

And yes, Onecall is an authorized Canon dealer as far as I know.

Here is an old thread discussing Onecall and the A1. Generally positive reviews overall.

Also, when I ordered, shipping was pretty reasonable and I got the camera in under 2 weeks as far as I recall.

Hope this helps.

Hey Robfilms,
Did you have to call to get that price? When I go to the link it shows as $3,499.99 in the cart then I apply the Sumer discount and that takes an additional $200 off. Is it as Nektonic says, that includes the rebate?

Thanks

Mahar,

Yes, it includes the Canon rebate, which you have to mail to Canon once you recieve the camera. You can open and save the Canon rebate PDF form directly from Onecall's site.

It was the same when I ordered mine in April. I don't know how long the rebate will take, as I haven't recieved mine yet.

resellerratings.com gives them a high rating, but I can tell you that that price is below dealer cost, so it might be a loss leader or something. I'd say it looks like a good deal as well either way.

They sell the camera for $3,500 like the others but they have their own store "instant rebate" of $200. After about $28 shipping the total comes to $3,327.93. Then take Canon's $250 rebate off - total out $3,077.93.

I talked to Matt at ONECALL. Patient. Knowledgable. No high pressure. The accessories he mentioned were selling for the same price as B&H, I checked...of course B&H were out of stock on one thing. Hey, if you need stuff why not get it from someone giving you a deal? Speaking of B&H, last time I ordered from them I swear I heard a stop watch ticking as the annoyed-with-me employee rushed me through my order. The way he had me rattle off the item numbers as he speed-talked the product name and said "check" after each was like something out of a Billy Wilder film.

Funny...it arrived missing an item.

The instant rebate $200 deal ends Monday June 25th at midnight. I asked for you guys and Matt says they have six Canon XH-A1's left.

ROCK 'N' ROLL!

Thanks so much. Every little bit helps. I am really wanting to get a Firestor FS-C soon as well and at least this will go a little way towards it. I thought the warranty prices were a bit steep. I may shop around for that a bit, because I think I want to get a four year on an item like this.

I just called. I was told I need to order by 3pm today (Pacific Time) in order to get the offer.

I am sitting here debating....

It's not the camera, (I am pretty set on the A1), it is knowing that I will spend just as much, if not more, on all the bags, lenses, adaptors, batteries, lights and so on. It's not a $3,000 decision, it is a $10,000 one.

Anyways, 3 hours left on the deal.

Ordered mines on Friday got it today at 8:30am

I guess I waited too long on this. I am finally ready to order. Has anyone found a low (legit) price like this elsewhere? I think the lowest I can find right now is Newegg at $3,149.

I am getting an HV20 on the same order.
