who is making money with clip websites?

[robertwerden]

I found this link
http://www.scottkirsner.com/webvid/gettingpaid.htm

Is anyone making money from their clips being purchased from sites like the ones listed in the link?
If so what is the best site and what are the types of clips that are popular?

[David Saraceno]

The most popular clips have people in them and with releases for the footage from those people from what I've seen.

Most of those sites are not set-up for the video content
provider to make money. Spend your time sending clips
to stock footage houses......
