Two friends slam poison on a bet. The terms: one of them will score with their fantasy girl in the next 24 hours... but things quickly deteriorate as the poison starts to have unfortunate side-effects.

This was our most recent (and last) entry into the Mayday 24-hour filmmaking contest, which happens annually. As usual, we planned something overly ambitious and then had to re-evaluate at the 11th hour (literally). So this movie is more like a 14-hour film, really.

The movie was shot on an HVX200 in 720p24N mode. Edited in Final Cut, animated and composited in After Effects. Conceived of and created by delusion and sleep deprivation.

I loved it! This was great! Some of the acting was a bit funky (line delivery), but overall, just great. Fantastic effort, guys. I'd hire you!

Thanks for watching! We had a lot of fun making it... except for of course the patch between 2 and 6am where all of us were completely miserable.

I've been trying to modify the original post, but you know, can't.
 
That was quite possibly the weirdest thing I have ever seen. But I loved it. I was really impressed with how much you guys did in 24 hours. That is a heck of a time crunch. Did you have several people working on post production at the same time?

I loved the sequence when they take the poison. Also the naked blood part cracked me up. My main criticism is that as funny as some of the animation was, I don't know if it was really necessary.

Great job and keep up the good work.
