Director of Photography Show Reel

very nice work... beautiful indeed. how much of that was the a1?

also what was that track, it was also very nice!

Hi marlon do you have a direct download link? That seems to take forever to even start for me.

very good work !!!
are you planning to stay solo or make the rounds of SF area SFX/animation houses or head to LA la land ..
IMO you'll find success with any choice ...

That's very very very nice work. I'm stunned at how beautiful the footage looks. How'd you get the glossy look on the films? Seems to be a trademark of yours (at least with those ones). Also, what kind of post-animation are you using? Overall - A+++, beautiful work.

Animation usually done in maya, 3dsmax, and after effects.

Marlon, let me first say that i'm a big fan of your work!

I enjoyed your reel very much, but im a little biased as i feel almost as if i know you after watching so much of your footage over the passed couple of months.

While i think that the footage will very much stand on its own two feet, i feel you may be better served to use a different music sellection and maybe cut it again. At the very end there is a bit of a arch in the music but with work as stong as yours I think you should use something that starts out melodic but quickly goes into more of an up beat tempo that maybe goes back an forth with a big ending. Or maybe use a couple different songs and mix between them.

Overall, you will definitely get attention when submitting it. But I think your work could be showcased even better and you owe it to yourself to make your reel as impressive as you work is.

I look forward to seeing more of your work as your career continues to develop!

GOOD LUCK!
