Shooting wet grass with sgpro.

nice and green... I like it:)

du har jo alltid bra kvalitet på bildene..
en ting jeg lurer litt på, du sier ofte at "I crush the blacks".. er dette i post work? hvia ja.. hva spesifikt gjør du og i hvilket software..?

Green is bad for the codec? I didnt know that, I only thought red and blue were bastards :)

Hey tommetass, I'll write in english: By crushing the blacks, I add the "level" effect in Premiere and pull the topper bar to the right to make the grey areas blacker, making it look sharper. Just like when you adjust levels on your photos in photoshop.

thank you very much:)
appreciate it...

haha... intresting, Wayne says Green is the worst colour for dv-codec, and smettli says its red and blue. Does this mean we have to shoot black and white now.

Nice footage as always, smettli... I have a question, where did you buy your monitor and what kind of battery does it run on?

"DV uses the worst compression ratio, and because of the way that the DV data stream is reduced in-camera, the red and blue channel are pretty much half the resolution of the green channel."

I got it wrong, it was my old anologue MJPEG (motion jpeg) capture card that did not compress the green channel so well. Thats where i get that from :)

I use the Varizoom 7" monitor, which uses rechargable battery packs which screws in handy under the monitor and can keep it going for aprox. 2 hours.

The green channel is where the luminance signal is derived i think. The red and blue are then sub sampled. Though the COLOR green is also subsampled, but im pretty sure the B&W Luma image is mostly from the green chip, as its in the middle of the spectrum.
