Hey guys, im gunna provide you guys with the 10.4.9 compatible installer.

i tested this with a few people on their systems, installs and works on their Retail units. Running system 10.4.9

Just ran your installer, popped in the Duel and then a P2 card, showed up the first time and looks like it will work like a charm! Later when I'm by my G-Raid I'll do a dump and report on the time it takes.

i installed it. I had two crashes. but now it seems now that adapter is being recognized in the system profiler. but its not reading the p2 cards nor are they coming up as P2card drives. but my OS tells me that it detects a PC card when i plug the p2 card in the duel adapter. And i can power off the PC card in the tools bar and remove the card without crashing. I'm running on a 17" macbookpro with macOSx 10.4.9. I really wished this worked.
 
Ok, I offloaded 1 card with no problem at all and got all excited. Then I filled up a 4 gig card to the max and was going to do some speed tests. Inserted card.... nothing. Rebooted machine with Duel Adapter removed. Inserted D/A waited, then inserted P2 card... nothing. Reinstalled driver from Cynic and restarted... nothing. I cannot seem to get it to work again and I've got nothing showing up in System Profiler.

Such a let down.....
 
Mine is still working perfectly, I've had no problems inserting the card and removing it, and it is still recognized as a P2 drive, and all the MXF files are intact.
 
kick ass! finally got Cynic's installer to work! major props for this guy!! This is the reason why i come to this site!
 
So I installed everything, including the first driver Cynic821 gave and the last one (thanks a lot btw). Now the system doesn't shut off and next to my airport connection I see a thing that tells me that the p2card is inserted and I can shut of the power towards the dueladapter. But doesn't the p2card supposed to act like a external hard drive now, where I can drag of the footage to my hard drive. I don't see anything where I can see the footage on the card?

You have to import the footage from within Final Cut before you can use the footage. On the P2 card it's broken up into mxf files.

On another note, I had everything working and then it quit when I put a 4 gig card in. The 4 gig did NOT have the firmware update, do you guys think this could've crashed it? Anyhow, I've updated the firmware, and reinstalled P2 and Duel drivers but can't get it back. Does anyone know how to uninstall the Duel driver? Any other suggestions?

Thanks, I'm shooting a wedding tomorrow and would REALLY like to get this thing working....
