Son of more letus footage

i noticed everyone with an adapter is using Nikon lenses. Is there a reason nobody is shooting using canon lenses adapter kit?

fudge disjecta! i just saw the clip and its just jaw dropping! If you dont mind me asking, how much did your adapter kit end up costing overall?

Ok Disjecta, I really need your help. Im also shooting HD content, and I would like to get it to the EXACT point you have it, WMV for the web...Please help me out with which export settings you use with Premiere, and if you use any outside programs. If you could share your workflow with getting your stuff to look that good, I would be REALLY grateful. My source material is great, but every stab I take at compressing it, I fail...miserably. Please.

Nice shots again - nothing new there though. With all the SGpro and letus stuff being posted I need to get out with the m2 and get some more stuff up - wheres the time weeeeeeee. Ill try :_

No big secret really, I'm using Vegas to create these WMVs. I just use the default 720 option which I believe is 10mbps. You can easily create something similar using Premiere's Media Encoder (in the export options). Just make sure the bitrate is set to 10,000 and the quality is set to 100%. Can't remember the parameters exactly.

Thanks for the other comments. Some of these shots are going to be used as transitions for a larger project I will work on in the future.

The letus has a flippable Canon/Nikon front so you don't pay extra for the ability to use Canon lenses. I just happened to own Nikons already so I stuck with them. I think there is something with the Canon lens that makes it difficult to change the aperture setting but I'm not sure. Anyway, bottom line is that the lenses are about equal in quality, I guess Nikon lenses are more abundant...just guessing.

Newer Canon lenses rely on the camera body to send it a digital signal to adjust the aperture. When they are not mounted on a Canon camera the iris is not adjustable. I do not know if it is stuck all the way open, all the way closed or at the last stop it was at when on the previous camera. That is the problem.
