The ability to use larger capacity P2 cards...

There's a firmware upgrade due for making it compatible with 16GB cards. Any other features that may be added haven't been discussed at all. It's due in May, whenever the 16GB cards become available.

[sick boy]

Is there any word where and when this will be available? I have seen 16gb cards shipping and wondering why they have not put this out yet?

[Barry_Green]

16GB cards are not yet shipping. The firmware update is supposed to be available as soon as the 16GB cards are out. It'll be sometime next month.

Last week it showed taking orders status and as of yesterday, it shows in stock.

[David Saraceno]

None are available and the site you referenced has none in stock.

[sick boy]

Why does there site show them in stock?

[Barry_Green]

They are taking pre-orders. Let me be perfectly clear here: no 16GB cards have ever shipped, ever. The very first ones are due next month. No reseller has ever sold one, because they've never existed yet.

[David Saraceno]

Why does there site show them in stock?

Grasshopper . . . because they want to take your order . . . .

[sick boy]

Wouldnt that be false advertising? I mean, shouldnt we call them out on that one?
