Video of unpacking the XH-A1

[Polle]

I finally went to the store today to pick up my XH-A1. And to satisfy some of the future XH-A1 owners, here's a photomontage of the unpacking.

Enjoy!

EDIT:
Here it is: I've put it on Youtube:

Unpacking the XH-A1

hahaha.....being a future A1 owner, I appreciate it. I like how you tease with the wrapper.

and what is that clap board that says console? Does it come with a clap board or its it just a book who's cover is designed that way?

[Polle]

Thanks! Feedback greatly appreciated!

The clapper: That's just a flyer to promote the ridiculously expensive, windows-only, software for the XH-A1.

Nice and stylish video. Felt a bit like Christmas

Yeah, thanks, it really felt great to see that big piece of technology in my hands!

Unfortunately I'm kinda tied up in an assignments, which leaves me no time to play with the camcorder.:embarasse :embarasse

Ahhh... how great to see the UV filter put on right out of the box. It's nice to know some people know how to take care of their gear

[Zim]

just wondering what you used to video tape the unpacking?

Why of course
I've read some horror-stories on this and other forums you wouldn't believe!
Plus on my previous camera there's a small pit from when I fell whilst filming a goat on a kids-farm. I didn't see the toddler standing behind me and to avoid the kid, I must have knocked the camcorder into something hard. It's been on there since 2002, but I've learned my lesson now!
But it's not easy to find a 72mm UV filter, I can tell you!

Actually, those are all still pictures, taken with a Lumix Z7, and put together in -sigh- Windows Movie Maker (I was too lazy to start up iMovie, should've done though, because the times WMM crashed - WMM just isn't good software).
So the digital camera was put on a tripod and I was good to go!

Keep the feedback coming! Gladly appreciated!
