Hey guys. Just completed our short, "Michelangelo Loves Barbie". It was our first time doing voiceover and complex audio mixing. I'm pretty happy with the results. Been looking forward to sharing this with an audience. Be warned, it's pretty vulgar.

No comments? Appreciate all the page views but it'd be nice to get inside the audience's head. Any feedback is appreciated. What did you like? What didn't you like? What could have worked better? Did the beginning drag a bit? Was the pacing just right or a little sluggish?

Thanks!

well... it's got potential but way too much sex it got boring already.
it could have been much shorter and edited much faster.

I liked the stop-motion parts more than the ones where you were moving them yourself where you could see your hands. I wish you'd found a better way to show that they were talking than just shaking them at the camera. All in all I thought there was too much talking, and too little animation. I would have liked to have seen more dynamic animation on the whole.

But aren't actions figures awesome for animation ? :)
Here's something I made w/ Playmobils a while back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8m6J7ZW9i-I

Thanks Nik! By the way, which version are you guys watching? Just wondering if people generally just check the YouTube version or if they go to the trouble to download the high quality version. I think I finally figured out how to make YouTube compressed stuff come out ok... unless you guys think otherwise.
