Finally got my card and book after almost 7 weeks. I called to check on it last week and they said it was going out the next day. I seem to recall a post or two saying the same thing. I'm wondering if they are waiting for you to check on it before they send it out.

That's what happened to me, and I wondered too. After waiting about 8 weeks, I had called on a Thursday, and was told that the card would ship the next day, which it evidently did, as it arrived in the middle of the following week. I think I recall other people saying their call/ship timings were also Thursday/Friday. Maybe that's the trick - call on a Thursday a few weeks after you've applied for the card...

I'm wonderning if any of you have suggestions as to my course of action in this issue. I'm using my HVX-200 and it's great. The free 8gig card was a significant selling point for me last October. At any rate, I applied for my rebate as follows:

Confirmation No. 14950 Status Fulfillment in process
Process Date 11/22/2006

Wondering where my P2 card was, I poked around on this forum, where folks were talking about having to send in proof of purchase, etc. I called early in Feb, where I was informed that I HAD been sent a letter to provide proof of purchase, but that I hadn't responded. We're a pretty small outfit - I get my own mail - whatever. We faxed over the invoice, and we were told that lamentably our delay would re-rack us to the back of the cue. Another 6 weeks. Whatever.

4/18/07 - 1:05 PM: called Veronica re. status - left message. no reply

4/20/07 - 9:09 AM: called. Veronica is out till Monday. Tramell says our proof of purchase fax never arrived. We're faxing it again today, and Tamell says she'll buzz me when she receives it. (yikes! no paper trail!) When asked if this would send me to the back of the line once again, she demurred, saying that's Veronica's call, but would do what she can for me.

any thoughts?

I actually had a similar situation, although I have finally recieved my P2 card and HVX book. Bought my HVX on Oct 2 (not even knowing about the rebate!) and only got the bonuses April 17. Now, to be fair I was out of town in December/part of January when I recieved the notice to send proof of purchase, but sent it to them immediately after I found out I had to (and why couldn't they email me considering I know they have my email?)

Anyhow, all's well that ends well, and I got something for nothing, which makes me happy.
 
Basically, all protestations to the contrary, ACB appears either extremely disorganized, or to have a lot of mail lost by the postal service, because a LOT of people have all reported that ACB "never received their documentation"... but ACB does seem to respond quickly once you start pestering them. (I agree the "shipping out tomorrow" thing is clearly bogus; a dozen people have had that experience, and it's too much of a coincidence.)

You might PM Jan Crittenden here with all your specifics if Veronica is out of town. She is in regular contact with the ACB people and has been very helpful to a number of people. I will say that Panasonic and ACB both seem to genuinely want to make good to everyone on the rebate offer, it's just not been the best orchestrated rebate program :)
 
I very worried :( about getting my P2 and my book from Panasonic, I'm in Colombia, South America, I bought my HVX200 in USA last month and came here, (my country) where I work and live.

The issue is since I came, I have not been able to open the page where it is supposed to reach the form in order to claim my promotion.

in the Panasonic page says:

"Click here to claim the special offer for the HVX200.
Claims must be submitted by April 30, 2007"

But when I give a click, an error message appears:

"Server Error in '/PanasonicRebate' Application.
Cast from string "12/31/2007" to type 'Date' is not valid."

it has been like this, since last month or so.

So my question is:

¿What have I to do in order to claim, and get my P2 and the Barry's book?

Do any body knows?
