once you have your footage, your 50% done... the other 50% is in post... thats how you make it look good.

Nice. It's my favorite. I never new the XH A1 had such incredible dynamic range.

You say exposure is everything. Is it key to slightly under expose?

Are numbers one and six the ones with the M2? I can usually spot the one with the M2 because of colour fringing, distortion or the main subject being slightly out of focus(I can see a bit of it in number one). But this is great work. Some of the greatest stills from the XH A1 I have ever seen. Nice and sharp. When will we see full resolution stills or video from your short film?

no, its key to light your sujects properly to compensate for windows and things like that.to be honest with you i think none of the prosumer cameras do a good enough job with dynamic range to just shoot in the most extreme lighting situations.and as for the m2 shots niether one of the ones you metioned was shot with the adapter.these were shot with the stock lens and mildly color corected.stills 2 and 3 were the m2.oh and thanks for the complement.

Great looking stuff. How much have you tuned the camera? Gamma, knee Master ped. coring etc.? Have you done anything with the color matrix? Personally I've spent the last two days tuning it with a gretagmacbeth colorchecker card and corresponding RGB codes in shake in order to get the stuff a bit more saturated before compressing it to 4:2:0 (tapecompression) thinking that this will help later on. anyone with thoughts on this?

i realy don't do alot of in camera tweaking except for boosting color saturation on overcast days and taking master ped -4. the rest is done in post colorcorection.i'm realy not going for an overly saturated look until the end of the movie were everything will be happy and summerish.thanks for the positive feed back.
