Picked these up from Spec-Comm as B stock a few months back.
I settled on a DVX100, so I've never used them.

I'm in Los Angeles, near Venice, so SoCal buyers can pick up.

Cheers

Would you be interested in donating them to Earthrace (www.earthrace.net) or giving us a good price?

We are in desperate need of P2 cards. I am coming to the Los Angeles area in the next couple of days so could meet up with you.

Well, new cards are going for $425 on ebay. And these are B stock with cases, packaging and all. So... gonna have to do a lot better than $200 each.

There's nothing wrong with asking.

There never has been. In this case it makes perfect sense. After NAB your offer will look great. Don't know why anyone thinks this price isn't reasonable......it's inevitable. In fact, within the year you won't even get 4 gig cards....they'll be fossils in technology speak.

Oh you're right. I forgot that the P2 price drops + amounts were confirmed already. Duh on me.

Actually, with what we are told about 16 GB cards and price in May, it's not unreasonable to think that NAB or shortly thereafter will introduce price cuts.

I'm guessing that you will see sub-$800 8s and lower come summer.

Nothing has been announced, but it stands to reason as more p2 cams are being introduced.

I'd be very surprised if an 8 gig card was more than 500 bucks. When cards are introduced with double the capacity, the price usually drops by at least half. In addition, the anticipation of 32 gig cards before the end of the year means that Panasonic will want to clear out their 8 gig stock asap as well. The only way they'll be able to do that, with consumers knowing that the bigger cards are around the corner, is to slash the prices dramatically.
