Barry_Green said:Yes you can do that. The part you're missing is "virtual P2 cards". Set up your bins to show them, then assign them. Read the P2 Viewer manual that gets installed where you installed the P2 Viewer program and it'll explain everything.

The part relevant to your post is "Setting Virtual P2 Cards." You use this process to point your P2 Viewer to where you have stored the P2 files. They have to be in the same structure (CONTENTS folder alongside LASTCLIP; within CONTENTS are the other six folders).
Jason Ramsey said:I just tried this.
Here's what I did:
Open p2 viewer.
On the top left, where it says "All P2 cards", right click. You will have the option to select "all virtual cards". Do that.
The go to "tool" in the menu bar, and select "setting virtual p2 card".
Then a little window will come up. You have 4 icons towards the top right of this window. The left most of those four is the one you want to click.
Then you will get another window that will allow you to navigate your HDD's to where you have your p2 cards stored. You are navigating up to the "contents" folder. Not into it. If you look at the directory structure of a p2 card, you will see that at the root, there is a contents folder and a lastclip.txt
You want to navigate up to the contents folder. So, if you just offloaded a p2 card straight to your C drive. You would just navigate to your c: drive, and click ok. When you go back to the p2 viewer window, you'll see whatever clips right there. If you have a card stored in H:/p2 cards/card01/ then that is where you would navigate to.
Does that make sense? Once you have set up the directory structure, you can select it as you did the first step. Right click p2 cards, or "all virtual cards", and you will have the other of these options, as well as whatever virtual cards you have set up.
