Ok here is my question. I have never gotten a good picture from my HVX when I view it out of the component video. It always looks like Crap. I have plugged it into a New 21" dell LCD to see the native 720p and the edges were all bad the colors were terrible ect... now I know that a LCD is not the best display for video but it looked like I was looking at my HVX but worse.. Now for those of you that think I have just plugged in the SD side of the camera I sure don't think I have. All the settings were for the 720pN. I have recently purchased a 50" plasma T.V. which has a very nice picture and I though that it being a T.v. should have a good picture from my HVX. Yah no go. I plug in the Component cables and it still looks like I am taking SD and blowing it up to HD. Grainy, edges are not sharp, color is bad, ect... So if anyone has had any luck with seeing the 720p image through the component let me know. I am beginning to think that there is something wrong with my camera. I mean if I can't get a good image from the HD then how am I supposed to light anything. You can't just guess and then push and pull in post. This is not film.
