Yea but the A1/G1 (not he H1) have that red green fringing issue as well as puirple and blue. it a virtual kaledescope on high contrast edges. But whats weird is, its not always repeatable, and it depends on the circumstance as to which abberation shows up.
I suppose thats why dennis thoughti was HDV based. Most of the time, its abberation free, then sometimes, out of nowhere, purplebluegreenred fringes. its weird.
HVX does that too. But its uniformly, Purple fringe, and it happens more on the very extreme long end of the lens. Optics are so cool.... lol
So I've uploaded a few new grabs from Monday and Tuesdays shoot of Man to man. This time I used my brand new Brevis, with extension tube and I must say the results are much more pleasing.
For the Bar scene we were using the following lights
1200W HMI with 3/4 CTO and 1/8 diffusion
2-Baby 1k's 1/2 CTB 1/4 diffusion
1-B&M Studio 2K 1/4 CTB and 1/4 diffusion
2-360W Flos
The Brevis truely was a blessing as even with all this light we were able to keep the lights rather far away from the talent and still have pleanty of light to shoot with. We had to make a window in a location with no windows so the HMI really came in handy.
Hopeflully we will have a teaser up pretty soon. I'll keep everyone updated.
