"Rage on Stage"
Ironic Action-Movie from Germany, made with almost no money and the good old DVX100. I was the DP on that ambitious Independent-Horror-Flick. Still in Production for some reshoots, you can take a look on an early trailer (with TempMusic) on www.8barfilms.de
Comments and/or questions welcome!

Edit: English subtitled Version online!

That looks awesome! Lame title but a killer trailer. Be sure to update us, I'd like to see it when it's released.

When you say, 'almost no money' I'd love to know what you mean exactly. Can you tell us the budget? How about a ballpark?

wow, that looks friggin' awsome. I like the title.

Can you tell us more about the production, how many people? how long it took? what equipment etc etc.

Thanks for the quick response.
Nice to find that controversy about the title again. It was the same within the crew: Love it or hate it, no way between it :D
No Money means something around 10.000 Dollar. It was mostly spend to feed the cast and crew - and the pyrotechnican.
The complete LightningStuff was for free from Arri Rental, because some people of our crew work there sometimes. We had three 2K Studiolights, one 4-feet KinoFlo, three 300W, three 800W and three Dedolights 150W. In addition a lot of Grip-stuff, like Magic-Arm and C-Stands.
We were shooting last years summer for three months, and waiting to put together a new budget for the reshoot, while we are working on a roughcut of the movie.

I´m going to tell some more about the crew and technical stuff, but it is very late in germany now, so I´ll check back later.

I was gonna say 10k.

Wow man. Way to prove that the DVX100 is still a totally viable cam for shooting with.

Very pro looking trailer. Gotta love that PAL DVX... 25p is so nice. Also... as I've said plenty of times-- Time is on the no-budget filmmaker's side. Proof? Shooting for 3 months. =)

Oh yeah, and were you guys using an adapter?

Oh my god! That was awesome!!! Especially since I didn't understand what was going on... I wasn't expecting that greasy dude to turn into a vampire... I was like, "WHHAATT???" Looks sick... wild... crazy... I want to see that... Are you gonna do english VO? Or subtitles?

one word - AWESOME! you and the team have done a great job, definitely shows what the old DVX can do.
i`m wondering about dvx settings, programmes used for CC and effects, any behind the scenes photos would be great too.
i guess the great lighting you had there really makes the difference, congrats again.

Amaaaaaazinggggggggg!

I loved the score as well, the trailer all around was great. You've got to tell me the premise of this film though, I can't help but ask "What's going on!".

Hello, I'm a newbie and have been lurking this forum for quite a while. I have to say your film is very impressive. Keep up the good work.
