rebate for XHA1?

Does anyone know if there's a rebate coming available soon--like, in a few days--from Canon for the XHA1?

And I'm thinking B&H is my best bet for buying the A1 online. Any consensus on that?
 
I don't think a rebate is coming. There is a Sony offer on 5 HDV tape for purchasers of an HDV product (including the A1) but it seems like that's just a marketing ploy as a bunch of people on here have been rejected for stupid reasons.

B&H is a good place to buy from.
 
Its cool that they are offering a rebate. I just cant work out why. I guess they are trying to sell as many as they can while they have the market. You look on the BHPhoto website and the A1 is on backorder.

So I’m going to order the XHA1 today or tomorrow morning. The only question is do I order from B&H or Texas Tape Works?

B&H has a stellar reputation with thousands of recommendations on resellerratings.com as well as here.

Texas Tape Works is endorsed by Chris H. at dvinfo.net. They’re offering the camera for the same price as B&H (for $100 extra, you can get a CamRade CB single 1 cambag). I’d like to support a company that supports forums like this and ddvinfo, but Texas Tape has only 8 (albeit excellent) reviews on Resellers, none newer than last year.

I’m in Boston so geographic location is not that much of an issue.

Which place would you recommend?
