Anyone with a Letus Flip willing to help me test it with the A1?

I've been considering getting an adapter for the A1 but the cost of an adapter with the Marshall monitor brings it way above my financial means. I know that a Marshall is an absolute must and I will be picking one up in the future, but for now I still like to get an adapter, which is why I've been looking at the Letus FE for its in-camera flip ability. The problem is I have no idea how the Letus fares when it deals with HD. I've read through many of the comments and some people thought it didn't cut it while other does; so I really would like to see it for myself.

I'm finally able to set aside some time the weekend of the 10th and the 11th. So is there anyone in the Berkeley area with a Letus FE who's willing to come down on one of of those days and test it with my A1? I have a Nikon 50mm lying around and if you can bring along your own lense that would be great. Of course after the test is done we'll post the results, with full res grab & clips etc.

If you're interested shoot me a PM.

Don't know how it will come out..I just ordered one from Quyen but he is out of town...The key is to have a fast Nikon/Canon lens to let in the most light. But if it like the M2 output then I wouldn't worry to much if 35mm adaptors work because Marlon Torres has some great footage using their system. And after reading a lot of people using the flip Letus I think it should be alright.

I believe Marlon used the M2 for that and users have reported that the M2 works fine with HD. But the cost of the M2 and the Marshall to go with it is just out of my price range, which is why I'm interested in the Letus. When the FE came out there were very few HD cam on the market so the it might produce a too soft image for HD. I've been looking at many test footage & grabs but in the end I think that seeing is believing, and so I like to conduct a hands on trial before making a purchase. It the Letus doesn't work for me, I'll save for the M2 or the Brevis; but the ability to flip the image in cam is a huge draw.

Can't tell the quality since youtube compressed it down. And the camera probably isn't the A1. Basically I'm not looking for test footage that I can look at, I rather prefer testing it myself.

I personally found the Letus to not be quite up to par on the A1, I just ordered the Cinevate Brevis which looks absolutly pheonominal on the A1. I think the achromat on the Letus just produces too much abberation, too much barrel distortion and too much resolution loss on the sides for HD work. For SD work it was great, I have used it successfully for over a year, but for HD it just seems to have too many optical flaws.
