Scene file set/rest fiasco....

Hi Jimmy,

I can't help you unfortunately. But I'm currently compiling a collection of scene file settings, that suit certain styles or environments, etc. Would you be interested in sharing yours?

Thanks

When you load from the SD card it loads all six scene files. That's the way it works. You can't save one individual scene file to the card, it saves all six at a time. So you actually have 30 different "looks" available to you at once: 24 from the card, plus your loaded six on the wheel. But once you load from the card it will overwrite what you have programmed in the wheel (it's actually the whole point).

There are two ways to save -- into camera memory, or onto the card.

When you save into camera memory (using scene file->save) it saves only that specific, individual scene file (for example, F4). It does not affect any of the others.

When you save onto the SD card (using card functions->save) it saves every scene file, first into camera memory and then onto the card. F1 through F6 all get saved to one file on the card. You can then go through and change every scene file again and save them all, collectively, to another file on the card. There are four potential slots on the card to save to; each slot gets all six scene files.

When you load from the card it will load in all six scene files, and overwrite what you have in camera memory with the contents from the SD card.

You can use SCENE FILE -> INIT to restore any individual scene file to its factory default.
